Song-Maut kitni bhi sangdil ho magar (Aaj aur Kal)(1963) Singer-Asha Bhonsle, Lyrics-Sahir Ludhianvi, MD-Ravi

Lyrics

maut kitni bhi sangdil ho magar
zindagi se to meharbaan hogi
maut kitni bhi sangdil ho magar
zindagi se to meharbaan hogi

nit naye ranj dil ko deti hai
zindagi har khushi ki dushman hai
maut sabse nibaah karti hai
zindagi zindagi ki dushman hai
kuchh na kuchh to sukoon paayega
maut ke bas mein jiski jaan hogi
maut kitni bhi sangdil ho magar
zindagi se to meharbaan hogi

maut se aur kuchh miley na miley
zindagi se to jaan chhootegi
muskuraahat naseeb ho ke na ho
aansuon ki ladi to tootegi
hum na honge to gham kise hoga
khatm har gham ki daastaan hogi
maut kitni bhi sangdil ho magar
zindagi se to meharbaan hogi
