“Hamsafar” (1953) was a Navketan Productions movie. It was directed by A N Banerji. The movie had Dev Anand, Chetan Anand, Kalpana Kartik, Smriti Biswas, Mohan Segal, M. A. Latif, Johnny Walker, Anil Gupta etc in it.
Here is the first song from the movie to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Kishore Kumar. Sahir Ludhianvi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Ali Akbar Khan.
Only the audio of this song is available but it seems quite likely that the song was picturised on Dev Anand. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the movie as well as on the picturisation of this song.
