Today (12 december 2013) is the 107th birth anniversary of Khemchand Prakash (12 december 1907- 10 august 1950). On this occasion, here is a song from “Vish Kanya” (1943).
“Vish Kanya” (1943) was a Ranjit Production movie. The movie was directed by Kidar Sharma. It had Surendra, Sadhana Bose, Prithviraj Kapoor, Kamla, Leela Mishra, Sulochana, Brijmala etc in it.
Five songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. This is the sixth song from the movie to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Kamla Chatterji as per the entry of myswar, though the voice sounds like Amirbai Karnataki to me.
Kidar Sharma is the lyricist. Music is composed by Khemchand Prakash.
Only the audio of this song is available. The movie has one Kamla in it. I wonder if she is the same as Kamla Chatterji. If so, then one can assume this song to be an actor-Singer song. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.

The singer IS Ameerbai. Her singing style is clearly and audibly comes through. Absolutely NO DOUBT.
