Today (7 january 2015) seems to be a day of birthdays, and that too birthdays of actresses only. We have already discussed songs picturised on three birthday ladies and we are not done yet !
Yes, there is yet another birthday girl who celebrated her birth anniversary today. And she is Supriya Pathak.
Here is a song from “Bahu Ki Aawaaz”(1985) on the occasion. I had never heard of this movie and I had not heard the song either. It turns out that this movie was based on a novel ”Bahu mange insaaf” written by Ved Prakash Sharma, who is an extremely popular author of Hindi pulp fiction for the last three decades . Personally I never read any of his novels. When I ckecked up, I discovered that “Sabse Bada Khilaadi” and International Khilaadi”, both Akshay Kumar movies were based on novels of Ved Prakash Sharma.
I remember that there was another pulp fiction author called Ved Prakash Kamboz those days. It appeared to me those days that “Ved Prakash” was a sought after brand name among authors of pulp fiction those days. 🙂
“Bahu Ki Aawaaz” (1985) was produced by B S Grover and directed by K Shashilal Nair for Godsons’ Productions. The movie had Naseeruddin Shah, Rakesh Roshan, Supriya Pathak, Swaroop Sampat, Om Puri, Vikas Anand, B.L.Chopra, Sulabha Deshpande, Amrit Dhillon, Bharat Bhushan, Aruna Irani, T.P.Jain, Pinchoo Kapoor, Yunus Parvez, Baby Suchitra, Raj Tilak, Guddu, Vikas Anand, Sunita Sharma etc in it.
The song is a duet which is sung by Yesudas and Anuradha Paudwal. The song is picturised on Rakesh Roshan and Supriya Pathak.
This movie had three lyricists, viz.Rajendra Verma, Shabab Alawalpuri and Bhimsain, but which out of the three wrote this song is not known. This is a nicely written song. Music is composed by Vijay Batalwi. The music is clearly inspired by Bappi Lahiri music of those days.
This song is a lovely song to listen to. I became aware of this song only a few moments back and I loved the song right from the very first time that I got to listen to it.
Lyrics of this song were sent to me by Prakashchandra.

Song-Chaand ko banaa ke tere maathe ki bindiya (Bahu Ki Aawaaz)(1985) Singers-Yesudas, Anuradha Paudwal, MD-Vijay Batalvi
Lyrics(Provided by Prakashchandra)
chaand ko banaa ke
chaand ko banaa ke
tere maathe ki bindiyaa
chaand ko banaa ke
tere maathe ki bindiyaa
maang mein teri bhar ke sitaare
aa tujhe dulhan banaa aa doon oon
aa tujhe dulhan banaa aa doon
preet bharey
preet bharey phoolon ka sehraa banaa ke
preet bharey phoolon ka sehraa banaa ke
gorey gorey maathe pe tere sajaa ke
aa tujhe dulhaa banaa aa doon oon
aa tujhe dulhaa banaa doon
chaand ko banaa ke
tere maathe ki bindiyaa
chaand ko banaa ke
palkon pe teri jo khawaab saje hain
aaj meri jaan sach kar ke dikhaaoongaa
simte hain armaan jo dil mein tumhaare
unko haqeeqat ki duniyaa banaaoonga
laaj bhari
laaj bhari ankhiyon mein kajraa lagaa ke
laaj bhari ankhiyon mein kajraa lagaa ke
taaron bhari raat ki chunri odhhaa ke
aa tujhe dulhan banaa aa doon oon
aa tujhe dulhan banaa aa doon
chaand ko banaa ke
tere maathe ki bindiyaa
chaand ko banaa ke
tu meri aankhon ka meethha hai sapnaa
tu meri dhadkan ke taaron ki sargam
tujhse basi hai muraadon ki duniyaa
tujhse hai jeevan mein naghmon ki chham chham
tu meri aankhon ka meethha hai sapnaa
tu meri dhadkan ke taaron ki sargam
tujhse basi hai muraadon ki duniyaa
tujhse hai jeevan mein naghmon ki chham chham
dil ki umangein
dil ki umangein saari tujh pe lutaa ke
dil ki umangein saari tujh pe lutaa ke
gori gori baanhon ke haar pehnaa ke
aa tujhe dulhaa banaa aa doon oon
aa tujhe dulhaa banaa aa doon
chaand ko banaa ke
tere maathe ki bindiyaa
chaand ko banaa ke
aaa…aaaaaa….aaaa
aa aaa aaaaa…aaaa
aaa…aaaaaa….aaaa…aaaa
aaaa….aaaa….aaaa….aaaa
tootey kabhi naa ye janmon ka bandhan
kitne bhi aayein chaahe waqt ke toofaan
meraa naseeb tu
teraa naseeb main
ab iss duniya ka hamko kyaa armaan
odh ke
odh ke tujhe main ye zulfon ki chaadar
odh ke tujhe main ye zulfon ki chaadar
aankhon ke darpan mein tujhko basaa ke
aa tujhe dil mein bithaa aa loon oon
aa tujhe dil mein bithaa loon
tere liye
tere liye khushboo bahaaron se chhuraa ke
tere liye khushboo bahaaron se chhuraa ke
khushboo ko teri main raahon mein bichhaa ke
aa tujhe jannat dikhaa aan doon
aa tujhe dil mein bithhaa loon
aa tujhe jannat dikhaa doon
aa tujhe dil mein bithhaa loon
aa tujhe jannat dikhaa doon
aa tujhe dil mein bithhaa loon
aa tujhe jannat dikhaa doon
aa tujhe dil mein bithhaa loon
aa tujhe jannat dikhaa doon
aa tujhe dil mein bithhaa loon

Sure, Madam, I will let you know, Meri nazar kabse unn gaanon par hai, par bahut latest hone ke dar se,postphone karte aayaa hoon,
thinking that those songs may not get chance to appear in the blog, so early.
Anyways, I am very much fond of Jism(2003)-1
songs composed by our south music director “KEERVANI”(aka M.M.Kreem or kareem) like
1)Jadu hai nasha hai,
2)Awaaraapan banjaaraapan ek hala hai seene mein(this number is excellent according to me),
3)Shikaayat hai

lip syncing is not perfect in the video link provided, but another longer video link is there but that video link is with jhankar beats, which is very annoying and irritating,
