“Ek Roz” (1947) was directed by Daaud Chaand for Gupta art Productions, Bombay. The movie had Nasreen, Al Nasir, Asha Posle, Azmal, Nafees Begam, Saleem Raza, Gul Zamaan, Shyamlal, Shahida, Zubeida, Leela, Indra Nazeer, Fazal Shah, Ayyaaz, Baby Zarina, Shekh Iqbal etc in it.

Two songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the second song from the movie. This song is sung by Munawwar Sultana, the singer, who was different from the actress of the same name active in the same era. Sarshar Sailaani is the lyricist. Music is composed by Shyam Sundar.

I have been unable to get the lyrics right to my satisfaction at some places. I request our readers with keener ears to suggest corrections/ missing words in the lyrics.
