In my pursuit of films with ‘similar titles’, I discovered a movie of 1949 called ‘Maaya Baazaar’. So far, as per information available online I could see that there are three films with the title ‘Maaya Baazaar’ and they were released in 1949, 1958 and 1971.
The 1958 ‘Maaya Baazaar’ has already made an entry on our blog and so far four songs from this have been posted on the blog.
As per information available ‘Maya Bazaar-1949’ was directed by Datta Dharmadhikari. It had Durga Khote, Shahu Modak, Baby Shakuntala, Balakram, Kusum Deshpande, Vasant Thengdi, Ganpatro Tambat, Chhotu, Usha Marathe and Yashwant.
Today’s song is sung by Lalita Dewoolkar and composed by Sudhir Phadke. Lyrics of this song are penned by Mukhram Sharma.
From the information, links of songs and comments thereof, it is clear that this film was also made in Marathi language. I would request knowledgeable readers to throw more light on this movie and its songs.

The singer married to MD.
Mukharam Sharma basically was a story/dialogue/script writer. However he has penned in movies like Shadi Se pehle-47, Chunaria-49, Bhai Ka Pyar-51 Shri krishna Satyabhama-51, Shri Vishnu Bhagwan-51, Rajrani Damayanti-52, etc

THERE IS ANOTHER ONE ALSO WHICH GOES LIKE ” KAUNA PHOOL BANWA HOON AEILYE PAWAN WA HOON ” I THINK ITS FROM THE MOVIE BHAIYA. CHECK IT OUT AND POST . THANKS . LOOKING FORWARD TO HEARING IT .

This song is not from a Hindi movie, but from a Bhojpuri movie called “Ganga”(1965). The songs of this movie are rare to find. I requested Sudhir Ji and he was able to search for this song. I hope that he will be able to discuss this song soon.
