“Aage Kadam”(1943) was directed by N R Acharya for Acharya Arts Productions, Bombay. The movie had Motilal, Anjali Devi, Mubarak, Padma Bannerji, Raj Kumari Shukla, Mishra, Nand Kishore, Master Amrit Lal, Leela Pawar, Narbada Shankar etc in it.
This obscure movie had eight obscure songs in it.
Here is the first song from “Aage Kadam”(1943) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Motilal. Seeing that he acted in this movie, it is clear that the song was picturised on himself.
Lyrics were written by Kailash Matwala.
There were two music directors in this movie namely Master Madho Lal and Ramchandra Pal, but the distribution of songs among the two is not known.
With this song, “”Aage Kadam”(1943) makes its debut in the blog.
Song-Wo roothhe huye hain manaana padega(Aage Kadam )(1943) Singer-Motilal, Lyrics-Kailash Matwala
Lyrics
wo roothhe huye hain
manaana padega
wo roothhe huye hain
manaana padega
ye wo raaz hai jo chhipaana padega
ye wo raaz hai jo chhipaana padega
chhipaana padega
wo roothhe huye hain
manaana padega
wo roothhe huye hain
manaana padega
bala ban gayi
unki be-aitbaari
tabaahi hai di mein
ye haay beqaraari
dilaaun main kyun kar
yaqeen unko apna aa
unhen
unhen ek din dil dikhaana padega
unhen ek din dil dikhaana
o ho
dikhaana padega
wo roothhe huye hain
manaana padega
wo roothhe huye hain
manaana padega
raham gar na aaye
hamaare kiye par
raham gar na aaye
hamaare kiye par
taras khaao
haay raam
taras khaao is apne jigri diye par
taras khaao ji haan
taras khaao is apne jigri diye par
agar khul gayi ye banaawat dikhaawat
agar khul gayi ye banaawat dikhaawat
to
bistar yahaan se uthhaana padega
to bistar yahaan se uthhaana
ji haan
uthhaana padega
wo roothhe huye hain
manaana padega
wo roothhe huye hain

Atulji,
The song is from Bhool-1948 by Sulochana Kadam(Chavan). Please correct. I think it got transposed with Aage Kadam-1943

Atulji,
It is a miracle that both these remarks are pertaining to ‘ So jaa so jaa’ from Bhool-1948 which appears as posted today i.e. 7th of Dec. It is sung by Sulochana Kadam (Chavan). Can you explain how it happened ?
