“Fighting Queen”(1956) was produced and directed by Nari Ghadiali for NKG productions. This stunt movie had the usual cast of Nadia, John Cawas, Pramila, Sheikh, Habeeb, Shamim Chaudhari, Noorjahaan, Anjum, Hanuman, Mustafa, Azeem, Ahmad, S Jahangeer, Shankar Shambhu qawwaal etc in it.

The movie had eight songs that were as obscure as the movie itself.

Here is the first song from “Fighting Queen”(1956) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Geeta Dutt. Saba Afghani is the lyricist. Music is composed by Nisar, who I assume was Nisar Bazmi.

Only the audio of this song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.

With this song, “Fighting Queen”(1956) makes its debut in the blog.

Song-Ban ke bahaar aayi hoon (Fighting Queen)(1956) Singer-Geeta Dutt, Lyrics-Saba Afghani, MD-Nisar

Lyrics

hey ae

ban ke bahaar aayi hoon
le ke karaar aayi hoon
phoolon ki angdaaiaan
taaron ki parchhaaiaan
dil mein utaar aayi hoon
o ho ho ho ho
ban ke bahaar aayi hoon
leke karaar aayi hoon
phoolon ki angdaaiaan
taaron ki parchhaaiaan
dil me utar aayi hoon
o ho ho ho ho
ban ke bahaar aayi hoon

din hain suhaane
mite gham ke fasaane
mere sapnon mein may ka chaman
rangeen hai zamaane
chhede dil ne taraane
naache man mora hoke magan
hey
masti mein jhoom ke
kaliyon ko choom ke
le ke bahaaron ka singaar aayi hoon
hey
ban ke bahaar aayi hoon
le ke karaar aayi hoon
phoolon ki angdaaiaan
taaron ki parchhaaiaan
dil mein utaar aayi hoon
o ho ho ho ho
ban ke bahaar aayi hoon

bigdi banaa le meri
sun matwaale
jale man mein khushi ke diye
chamke ujaale
zara nazren mila le
dole jiya ab tere liye
ae
jaaga naseeb hai
manzil kareeb hai
main teri duniya sanwaar aayi hoon
hey
ban ke bahaar aayi hoon
le ke karaar aayi hoon
phoolon ki angdaaiaan
taaron ki parchhaaiaan
dil mein utaar aayi hoon
o ho ho ho ho
ban ke bahaar aayi hoon
le ke karaar aayi hoon
phoolon ki angdaaiaan
taaron ki parchhaaiaan
dil mein utaar aayi hoon
o ho ho ho ho
ban ke bahaar aayi hoon
