“Jeewan Saathi”(1949) was produced by Dhanwant S Shah and directed by R S Taara for D S Films, Bombay. The movie had Ashok Kumar and Usha Kiran in lead roles supported by Anoop Kumar, Daisy Irani, Amarnath, Jeevan, Protima Devi, Shammi, Mirza Musharraf, Leela Misra, Murad, Dhoomal, Iftekhar, Salvi, Bhupendra Kumar, Alka, Gopal etc.
“Jeewan Saathi”(1949) was directed by M D Baig for Khatri Pictures, Bombay. The movie had Ajit, Sulochana Chatterji, Mumtaz Ali, Jeewan, Badri Prasad, S Nazir etc in it.
The movie had more than nine songs in it, but details of only nine songs are known as per HFGK..

The song is from JEEWAN SAATHI (1949) but star cast mentioned in the write up is that of JEEWAN SAATHI (1957).

Thanks for pointing out the error. Yes, I had mistakenly mentioned the cast of “Jeewan Saathi”(1957). Now I have rectified it by providing the correct cast.

We should not depend on HFGK. What’ll be the age of Daisy Irani, who had acted in this movie, in 1949?
