“Do Aadmi”(1960) was directed by Dwarka Khosla for Vikas Productions Bombay. This movie had Jairaj, Shashikala, Jeewankala, Kammo Tripathi, Rammurty, Eruch Tarapore, Laxmanrao, Jagdish Kamal, Shiv Dutt, Saiyyad, Daya Devi, Meena Parel etc in it.

This obscure movie had five songs in it. One song has been covered in the past.

Here is the second song from “Do Aadmi”(1960) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Lata and Mukesh. Prem Dhawan is the lyricist. Music is composed by S N Tripathi.

Only the audio of the song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of ths song.

Lyrics

milte milte mil hi gaye
do dil pyaar ki raahon mein
khilte khilte khil hi gaye
phool hi phool nigaahon mein

milte milte mil hi gaye
do dil pyaar ki raahon mein

aa aa aa aa aa
aa aa aa aa aa
aa aa
hum to chalte hain tere ishaare pe
bhala humko apni khabar kahaan

chal diye hum bhi pyaar ke sahaare pe
jaane rukta hai jaa ke safar kahaan
maine dhoondh li apni manzil
maine dhoondh li apni manzil
teri zulfon ki thhandi chhanv mein

milte milte mil hi gaye
do dil pyaar ki raahon mein
khilte khilte khil hi gaye
phool hi phool nigaahon mein

aa aa aa aa aa
aa aa aa aa aa
aa aa
toone pyaar se zara jo muskura diya
meri zindagi ke raaste sanwar gaye
toone pyaar se zara jo muskura diya
meri zindagi ke raaste sanwar gaye

yoon to mushqilen hazaaron aayi samne
unko thukra kar hum to guzar gaye
kahte hain ye shokh nazaare
kahte hain ye shokh nazaare
zara daal do baahen baahon mein

milte milte mil hi gaye
do dil pyaar ki raahon mein
khilte khilte khil hi gaye
phool hi phool nigaahon mein
