Hullo Atuldom

Today (5 february 2018) is Monday, first day of a working week and the song with this post is asking for a weekend. I had fallen in love with it the minute I heard it about 2/3 years back in 2015. I had immediately noted its lyrics so that I could use it at the first opportunity.
This song is neither unique nor rare. It is from a movie where the young actor has co-starred with a senior actor whom he had probably addressed as uncle in the 1980s/90s. The junior actor was a bigger fan of the senior than the junior was of his own father’s.

Confused? Well let me clear the air. So, today’s song features Rishi Kapoor with Abhishek Bachchan. I have read a loooonggg time ago, in one of Amitabh Bachchan’s interviews, in a film magazine of the 80s; wherein Amitabh had said that his kids loved Rishi Kapoor movies more than his own as his movies had more of romance and feel good factors as opposed to Amitabh’s which had violence etc. Confusion cleared?
Ok it can be called unique in the sense after having acted and danced around with AB Sr. Rishi is here with AB Jr.

The movie was a very straight story of misunderstandings between father and son. How the son walks away from the family but returns on learning of a crisis in the family and how he reunites his parents and at the end “ALL IS WELL” — that was the name of the movie too. The movie was directed by Umesh Shukla the person who had made “OMG—OH My God!” in 2012. All is Well starred Asin and Supriya Pathak as the females in the life of RK and AB Jr. the movie has six songs with Himesh Reshammiya, Meet Brothers, Amaal Malik etc. as composers and assorted writers too. Today’s song is penned by Shabbir Ahmed and Amaal Malik is the composer. The playback is by Vishal Dadlani and the rap part is by Badshah.

Here I must confess that I have no clue about Badshah Amaal Malik, and very little knowledge about Meet Brothers. I only hope there are young followers to the blog who can throw light on these NEW NAMES for us. 🙂

Any guesses why I chose this song today— Abhishek Bachchan turns a year older today.

Wishing Abhishek Bachchan, a very Happy Birthday.

Song-Hafte mein chaar shaniwaar hone chaahiye (All is Well)(2015) Singers-Badshah, Armaan Malik, Vishaal Dadlaani, Lyrics-Shabbir Ahmad, MD-Amaal Malik

Lyrics

rule saare break karo
jo kabhi na kiya wo karo
party karne ka mood bane toh
weekend ka na wait karo

rule saare break karo
jo kabhi na kiya wo karo
party karne ka mood bane toh
weekend ka na wait karo
arrey common ye sabke vichaar hone chahiye
hafte mein chaar shanivaar hone chaahiye
hafte mein chaar shaniwaar hone chaahiye

shanivaar bole toh saturday
woh bhi chaar chaar

kabhi aisa bhi ho
sooraj chhuti pe ho
ghadi ke kaante
mutthi mein ho
in the lambi limo
full-on masti bhi ho
saath mein hot beauty bhi ho
arrey speaker ka volume hazaar hona chaahiye ae ae
hafte mein chaar shanivar hone chaahiye
chaar chaar char chaar
hafte mein char shanivar hone chahiye
four chaar
four chaar

maine kaha party karo,
kehna kyun nahi maante
jeene ke din hote hain,
bas chaar insaan ke
sharmaana aur ghabraana,
yeh dono cheezen chhod do
rules aur dance floor,
ye dono cheezen tod do
its yo boy badshaah

jab ye gaana bajegaa toh
automatically hi tu dance karega
kaan ke neeche do de doonga
jo kabhi faltu bakwaas karega
jisne party nahin karni
they can go to hell
?? boy is in the house
baby all is well

saal ke yaar gin
teen sau painsath din
52 hi shaniwaar hai
kar calendar ko flush
chhod de saare rush
din jawaani ke bas chaar hain
worldwide yehi prachar hona chaahiye ae ae ae
hafte mein chaar shanivaar hone chaahiye
hafte mein chaar shanivaar hone chaahiye

I know only of Amaal Malik ( the son of Daboo Malik, the nephew of Anu Malik and the grandson of Sardar Malik) who was recently in the news because of his musical scores in ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ (2017) and ‘Golmal Again’ (2017). His mother, Jyothi Malik is a relation of one of my close friends.

Arman Malik and Amaal Malik are brothers.

Hasrat Jaipuri is the maternal uncle of Anu Malik and Daboo Malik.

Oh so this Amaal Malik is Anu Malik Khandan?

Daboo Malik has got another Name in KRISH MALIK when he starred in B.R.Chopra `s Mahabharat (1988)as a young Bhishma or Dev vrata

Krish Malik in Baazigar who gets killed by Shahrukh Khan
