Today’s movie eligible for ‘Blog Ten Years Challenge’ is “Ek Sholaa-1958”.
‘Ek Sholaa-1958’ was directed by Chander Saigal for ‘Deep & Pradeep Productions, Bombay’. Deep Khosla and Pradeep Kumar were the producers of this movie and that is why the name ‘Deep and Pradeep Productions’.
It had Pradeep Kumar, Mala Sinha, Nazeer Hussain, Jawahar Kaul, Dhumal, Tuntun, Baby Naaz, Baby Ashwini, S.K. Prem, Deep Khosla, Leela Mishra, Shobha Khote, Rajan Kapoor, Jamila, Kathana, Visheshar, Indra, Ranjana Shukla, Ravi Tandon, Kamaldeep, Gopal Vashisht and others.
This movie had total eight songs in it including one two-part song. Music for this movie was composed by Madan Mohan whereas Majrooh Sultanpuri wrote the lyrics for all songs in this movie.
Asha Bhonsle, Mahendra Kapoor, Mohd Rafi and Geeta Dutt had given their voices to the songs in this movie.
This movie was passed by Censor Board on 28.11.1958.
