We can from the above table that eight songs eight movies were represented on the blog on that day on 25.09.2012.
Out of these eight movies, so far, only four movies have been Yippeeee’ed on the blog. So, we have four movies available for today where we can present a song on the blog.
I am presenting a song from the movie ‘Khote Sikkey-1974’. One song from this movie was posted on the blog on this day ten years back. I think this song was my third lyrics contribution appearing on the blog. My first lyrics contribution was posted on the blog on 13.09.2012.
I was aware of this movie and its song jeewan mein tu darna nahin since my childhood days and when I become associated with this blog I shared this song then.
Few months back, I listened to the other songs from this movie. This movie ‘Khote Sikkey’ has only three songs. When I listened to the remaining two songs, I liked one of them very much and noted it down for my write-up. I was supposed to present it on a special occasion, but I got stuck up with my write-up, and so much so that it took me more than a month to come back to writing and send a post to Atul ji.
Well, I am not presenting that song today, and will present it later the blog with the same ‘thoughts’ I wish to present earlier. 😊
“Khote Sikkey-1974” was directed by Narendra Bedi for ‘Mewar Films, Bombay’.
It had Feroz Khan, Narendra Nath, Danny Dengzongpa, Ranjeet, Sudhir, Paintal, Kunwar Ajit, Ajit, Rehana Sultan, Madhuchhanda, Alka, Rajpal, V. Gopal, Johny Whisky, Bhushan Tiwari, Leela Mishra, Mamaji, Jimmy Sikandar, Rekha Chauhan, Raj Katyal, I. A. Pasha, Mansharam, S. Baghel, Trilok Sharma, Hamid, Harish, Kripa Shankar, Satyanarayan, Tilakraj, Khairati, Chandu, Uma Khosla, Manohar, Bhanumati, Kishan Mehta, Master Shaka, and others.
Satyen Kappu, Kamal Kapoor and Master Alankar made friendly appearances in this movie.
This movie had three songs penned by Majrooh Sultanpuri. Music for this movie was composed by R.D. Burman.

On screen the today’s song is lip-synced by Rehana and one other actress (whom I am unable to identify) and we can see Sudhir, Ranjeet, Danny, Paintal, Narendra Nath, and others enjoying this ‘mujra’ song, and we can see Feroz Khan (the Client Eastwood in this movie 😊 ) watching them or rather ‘keeping an eye on them all’ from behind the ‘curtains’…
Today 25th September 2022 is also the eighty-third birth anniversary of Feroz Khan (25 September 1939 – 27 April 2009) an actor, producer, and director and one among our many favourites of the seventies …
We pay our tributes to Feroz Khan and thank him for all the lovely memories of his movies he has left for us. Though he has no words or lyrics to perform in the today’s song he is still present there in this song and readers can still watch him in this song and remember this ‘one of his kind of actor’ of Hindi Cinema today.
