“Vishwaas”(1943) was produced and directed by Homi Wadia for Wadia Movietone, Bombay. The movie had Surendra nath (playing Niranjan), Mehtab (playing Sharda), Trilok Kapoor (as Prakash), Sulochana chatterjee (as Prabha), Nayampalli (as Rajen Prasad), Himalayawala (as Gyani Dada), Gulab (as Saraswati devi), Meena, Butt,Afzal, Rashid, Narsi etc.
The movie also presented Baby Madhuri (as Madhuri). This child artist was the sister of Meena Kumari. After growing up, she married comedian Mehmood in 1953 and left film industry. She was the mother of singer Lucky Ali.
“Vishwaas”(1943) had eight songs in it. Four songs have been covered so far.
Here is the fifth song from the movie to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Surendra and Baby Madhuri and it is picturised on them as well. Safdar aah Sitapuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Feroz Nizami.

A part of the song which Baby Madhuri renders, is the one which is also a part of the another song in the film sung by Parul Ghosh and picturised on Mehtab. The link is that Baby Madhuri is the daughter of Surendra and Mehtab and Surendra is not aware of this because he has lost memory due to a train accident.
