HFGK Vol-III (1951-1960) mentions that this movie was passed by Censor Board on 24.04.1951. However the producer’s name for this movie is not given there.
This movie has nine songs. Six of them were written by Akhtar Ul Iman. Khumar Barabankvi peened two songs. Lyricist name for one song is not mentioned.
Music for this film was composed by Ghulam Mohammad.

AKHTAR UL IMAAN (1915-1996) was a very capable and famous Urdu poet. He was the winner of Sahitya Academy Award in 1962 for his Urdu poetry book Yadein and also got Iqbal Sanman Award in 1963.
He came to Bombay after doing a job in Delhi A.I.Radio and joined film industry as a writer. He has rarely written lyrics for any movie as he considered it to be unworthy for Urdu poetry, but he excelled in story, screenplay and dialogue writing.
He was a regular for many B.R.Chopra films for Dialogues. He got FILMFARE Award for Dialogues in Dharamputra in 1961 and Waqt in 1966.
Some of his films are Nirdosh, 36 Ghante, Kanoon, Waqt, Mera Saaya, Dharamputra, Gumrah etc. (almost 40 odd films).
BIKHARE MOTI was made in 1935, 1951 and 1971.The above film was produced by great India productions and directed by S.M.Yusuf.Lyrics were also written by Khumar Barabankvi. The cast included Kamini Kaushal, Nigar Sultana, Jayant (whose son Amjad khan married the daughter of Akhtar Ul Imaan), Jeevan, Neelam Kothari etc.
The story stressed need of the joint family and how, if it breaks, life becomes difficult.
