“Ratnaghar”(1955) was produced by Sudhir Phadke and Y H Joshi and was directed by Pethekar for Navbharat Chitra Bombay. The movie had Raja Paranjpe, Shakuntala, Lalita Pawar, Suryakant, Madan Mohan, Takalkar etc in it.
The movie had five songs in it. Three songs have been covered so far.
No song from this movie have been covered in the last five years. That is because the two songs that were left to be covered were not available. But when I checked now, I found that they have now become available online.
That gives me the opportunity to present the remaining songs to the blog as well.
Here is the fourth song from the movie. This song is sung by Lata Mangeshkar. Pt Narendra Sharma is the lyricist. Music is composed by Sudhir Phadke.
Only audio of the song is available. My guess is that the song was picturised on the leading lady of the movie, who was Shakuntala, going by the cast. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the movie as well as on the picturisation of the song.
I have not been able to get a couple of words right to my satisfaction in the lyrics in the last stanza. I request our readers with keener ears to help suggest the corrections in the lyricswherever applicable.

One of the best classic music director.
Very long ago, I read an article on Sudhir Phadke, about the Song, “Jyotikalshkalake”.

Lataji was hesitant to sing this song, telling Sudhirji that she may not do justice to his classical composition.
But Sudhir ji encouraged her to a few rehearses singing with her, till she got the confidence, and then recording was done.
