“Society”(1942) was directed by Nazir for Hind Pictures, Bombay. The movie had Sitaara devi, Nazir, Majid, Gope, Alaknanda, Shaam, Rajkumari Shukla, Chopra, Malti, Janardan Sharma, Anwari, Ishrat etc in it.
The movie had eleven songs in it. Two songs from the movie has already been discussed in the past.
Here is the third song from “Society”(1942) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Sitara Devi and Rafiq Ghaznavi. Hasrat Lucknowi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Rafiq Ghaznavi.
Only the audio of this song is available. My guess is that the song was picturised on the lead pair of Sitara devi and Nazir.I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the movie as well as on the picturisation of this song.
