“His Highness”(1964) was directed by Anand Joshi for Neeti Films, Bombay. This stunt film had Helen, Jairaj, Chand Usmani, Arvind, Krishna Kumari, BM Vyas, Maruti, Ratnamala, Chaman Puri, Tuntun, Lakshmi, Rehana, RS Dubey, Kalla , Miraajkar etc in it.
From the cast, it appears that Helen was the lead actress in this movie.
“His Highness”(1964) had five songs in it. All the five songs were female solo songs sung by Asha Bhonsle. Seeing that Helen was the leading lady, these is evey likelihood that these songs wee picturised on Helen. But video of this movie is not available so we can only speculate about the picturisation of the songs.
One song from the movie has been covered in thye past. Here is the second song from “His Highness” to appear in the blog. This Asha Bhonsle solo song is penned by B D Mishra and music is composed by Bhanu Thakur.
From the sounds of it, the song appears to be a stage dance song. I request our knowledgeable readers tothrow light on the movie as well as on the picturisation of this song.
