“Ishq Par Zor Nahin”(1970) was produced by Suresh Saigal and directed by Ramesh Saigal. The movie had Dharmendra,Sadhana, Kamini Kaushal, Biswajeet, Abhi Bhattacharya, Nadira, Leela Misra, Randhir, Jagdish Raaj, Meena, Uday Chandrika, Jagdeep, Madhumati etc in it.
“Ishq Par Zor Nahin”(1970) had eight songs in it. Seven songs have been covered in the past.
Story of the movie was given by Satyajit Rajurkar while covering the seventh song of the movie. Here is that story as given by him :-
Amar (Dharmendra) and Ram (Biswajeet) are close friends who work together in the same company. Amar is the wealthy, confident, and somewhat carefree son of a rich businessman, while Ram is humble, hardworking, and financially modest. Despite their differences, the two share a strong bond of friendship.
One day, Ram comes across a beautiful young woman named Sushma (Sadhana) and falls deeply in love with her. However, he is too shy to express his feelings directly. Instead, he writes her a heartfelt love letter but signs it with Amar’s name, believing that his poor background might stand in the way of love.
Sushma receives the letter and, impressed by its sincerity, believes Amar is the one who wrote it. When she meets Amar, she is charmed by him and gradually falls in love with him — not realizing that the real author of the letter was Ram.
Amar, at first unaware of the misunderstanding, also starts developing feelings for Sushma. When the truth eventually comes to light, both friends are heartbroken — Amar feels guilty for unintentionally betraying his friend, and Ram is devastated to lose the woman he loves.
The emotional conflict deepens as Amar and Ram struggle between love and friendship. Sushma, too, is torn between her affection for Amar and her compassion for Ram once she learns the truth.
Ultimately, the story leads to a tragic yet noble resolution where personal sacrifice defines true love and friendship.
Here are the details of the seven songs that have been covered in the past:-

Here is the eighth and final song from “Ishq Par Zor Nahin”(1970). This song is a solo song as well. It is sung by Manna Dey. But unlike the other songs, video of this song does not seem to be available. This song itself is the nost elusiveand obscure song of this movie. Was it a song that was excluded from the movie ?
I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
With this song, all the eight songs of “Ishq Par Zor Nahin”(1970) are covered in the movie. The movie thus joins the list of movies that have been YIPPEED in the blog.
