“Elephant Queen”(1961) was directed by Rajendra for Rajni Chitra, Bombay. This costume drama movie had Helen, Azad, Sundar, Sherry, Shakila Bano Bhopali, Arvind Pandya, Nimmo, Tuntun, Saroj, Jillani, Malik, Arvind Kumar, Haroon etc in it.
“Elephant Queen”(1961)had six songs in it. Two songs have been covered so far.
Here is the third song from the movie. HFGK describes this song as sung by Sudha Malhotra and a male voice. On listening to this song, it is clear that the male voice is that of Hemant Kumar.
Lyricist of this song (or for that matter any song of this movie) is not known. Music is composed by Suresh Talwar.
Only audio of the song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the movie as well as on the picturisation of this rare song.
