Mukesh and his Composers – 48

Aarohi (1982), a relatively unknown film, has 4 songs sung by Mukesh. 3 duets and a solo.

I have covered Mukesh’s one duet each with Hemlata and Bela Saver. They can be found here and here.

In this post, I take up the third song (solo) under this composer’s series. As such names of all the four songs can be found in this post. Since this is the only film of the composers in which Mukesh gave playback and Bharat Vyas wrote all the four songs of Mukesh, the below table is sans two columns.

S. NoName of the SongCo singer (if any)
1Mere man mein chhupee hai ik baat sajnaaBela Saaver
2O meri bahena pahanau tujhko gahnaBela Saaver
3Tujhko fursat se vidhaata ne rachaaHemlata
4Tera pyaar se jeewan bhar jaaye

Whatever details I could fetch with my limited efforts regarding the film, composers and playback singer Bela Saaver have been covered in my two posts referred above.

The lack of details of this film and its artists have become an alibi for me to post shorter posts; something which I am not accustomed to. 😊

I will take up the last song from film, the second duet with Bela Saver after I get more details. My request to more knowledgeable readers to add the requested information and details stands.

For now, we can enjoy this solo sung by Mukesh. From some of the comments on youtube, I understand this was the most famous song of the film and played quite often on radio.

The lyrics of today’s solo remind me of two more popular songs of Mukesh. They are mubaarak ho sab ko samaa ye suhaanaa from Milan (1967) and khush raho har khushi hai tumhaare liye from Suhaag raat (1968). I hope readers agree with me.

So, keeping in mind the two aforesaid unrelated songs, I present today’s solo in the glorious voice of Mukesh.

Song-Tera pyaar se jeewan bhar jaaye(Aarohi)(1982) Singer-Mukesh, Lyricist-Bharat Vyas, MD-Anand Sagar-Kiran

Lyrics:

Tera pyaar se jeewan bhar jaaye
tere man ka madhuvan khil jaaye
lo suhaag kee ye choodiyaan pehno
lo suhaag kee ye choodiyaan pehno
tu amar suhaagan ban jaaye
tera pyaar se jeewan bhar jaaye

tere man kee umangen pooree hon
tere sang rahe jeewan saathhee
tere man kee umangen pooree hon
tere sang rahe jeewan saathhee
chanda se kiran ka ye naata
jaise deepak ke sang baatee
tere ghar mein sada ujiyaara ho
tere ghar mein sada ujiyaara ho
teree raah mein kaliyaan muskaayen
tera pyaar se jeewan bhar jaaye

tere kangna kee khhan khhan se
nit goonj uthhe pee ka angnaa
tere kangna kee khhan khhan se
nit goonj uthhe pee ka angnaa
apne is nootan jeewan ko
tu preet ke rangon se rangna
tu apne piya ke man bhaaye
tu apne piya ke man bhaaye
teree maang sindooree sanwar jaaye
tera pyaar se jeewan bhar jaaye
