After Bhagyashree Patwardhan I come to the next B and that is Bharti Sharma. To refer to other actresses, whose name start with B and have moved their lips to Asha Bhosle’s song go to the post by Atuljee.
This Bharti Sharma is not to be confused with the 1961 born Bharati Sharma (on imdb also entered as Bharti Sharma), who is an Indian theater director, actress, and teacher. I couldn’t gather much information on this Bharti Sharma. There is no Wikipedia entry on her name and I couldn’t find any interviews with her. The only page which gives information on her is imdb and all that is there to find about her on this site is a list of her films and TV series, which total to seven.
According to imdb the actress Bharti Sharma in question debuted in the Gujarati film Man Sayba Ni Mediye (1999), which had the Gujarati superstar Naresh Kanodia as the main lead. The next film that she is accredited with is Bhola in Bollywood (2004), wherein she doesn’t seem to play the lead. After that she appeared in three Hindi TV series Barrister Roy (2006), Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara (2012-2014) and Masakali (2014-2018). Some episodes of Barrister Roy are uploaded on youtube by Prasar Bharati Archives, therein she seems to play Barrister Roy’s (Kanwaljeet) assistant. In Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara (2012-2014) she plays the wife of a rich man and from what I could discern from the few episodes I fast forwarded through, she doesn’t have much of a speaking part. I couldn’t find any episodes of Masakali (2014-2018) online, so I can’t vouch for her appearance in that series. Meanwhile she appeared in a Gujarati film Unchi Medi Na Uncha Kangara (2008). The screen shots of the movie on imdb do feature her, although her name is not mentioned below them. The Hindi movie Hai Golmaal in White House (2015) seems to be her last full-fledged movie. On imdb this is her last entry.
Hai Golmaal in White House (2015) seems to have passed the Central Board of Film Certification on 17th December 2012. The film seems to have got released in September 2015, although on Wikipedia the release year has been named 2013. The film is produced by Vision Corporation and stars Rajpal Yadav, Govind Namdeo, Pratima Kazmi, Vijay Raaz, Yashpal Sharma. The story is that of four young women. Some of them have moved to Mumbai in search of jobs. The four young ladies are played by Bharti Sharma, Nisha Choudhary, Rayna Mukherjee and Tanurika. They have different occupations and are in search of an apartment of flat to share. This they find in the Apartment complex called White House. What they experience there constitutes the rest of the story.
In the featured song today all the four young women are to be seen and celebrating their first love experiences. The lady, whom we see first in a solo frame is Bharti Sharma, the actress today in question. She plays the character of Niloofer, who is a disc jockey. The song also features the actresses Nisha Choudhary, Rayna Mukherjee and Tanurika. Asha Bhosle gives playback to all the four of them. So in one stroke we have four new actresses, who have moved their lips to Asha Bhosle’s vocals.
With this song, the movie Hai Golmaal in White House (2015) makes its debut on the blog and so do Bharti Sharma, Nisha Choudhary, Rayna Mukherjee and Tanurika. If I am not mistaken, this is also the debut of the lyricist Saajan Agarwal.
