“Sangeet Samrat Tansen” (1962) was a labour of love for S N Tripathi. This movie was a Sur Sagar Chitra Production. It was directed by S N Tripathi. A movie was made on the fife of Tansen two decades ago and there the lead role was played by K L Saigal and the musical score of that movie was unparalleled. So S N Tripathi had a lot to live up to. I am not awrae how this movie fared at the box office and I request our knowledgeable readers to throw more light on this matter.

Things are not supposed to work out according to our wishes, so we should better reconcile ourselves with whatever is in store for us.
