It has been pointed out by my readers that the song “Ramaiyya vasta vaiyya” from “Shree 420” (1955) is missing from the blog. Not just this song, I am sure many great gems of yesteryears are missing from the blog. But I will gradually add all these songs. For one who has studied Urdu, writing down the lyrics of this song would be a cakewalk. I am not familiar with the Urdu alphabet and as a result, the lyrics of this song is Greek (rather Urdu) to me. I had planned to post this song in the past, but I could not do so mostly because I was unable to follow the lyrics.
