I have been thinking for the last few days that it is high time that I make a serious attempt to do a write up. More than 200 song lyrics (Provided) by me are already posted here. When I found this blog in January last year, it was like I found heaven on the net. I was just sorry that 3000 plus songs were already discussed and I had found it so late. I became aware of “Puraskaar” (1970) after Memsaab reviewed this movie in her blog. It turns out that the movie is a treasure of great songs. I wonder how I was not aware of this movie when it was released in 1970s, seeing that this movie had music by R D Burman and I, like most music lovers was a big fan of R D Burman’s music.

“Abdullah” (1980) was a movie that received quite a bit of publicity during its making, but people lost interest once it was released. I do not know why. This movie never came to my town, which is normally the facte of B grade movies and not a movie which was produced and directed by an A grade Producer like err Sanjay Khan :).
