“Ziddi” (1964), not to be confused with “Ziddi”(1948) was a Pramod Films Production. It was produced and directed by Pramod Chgakravorty. The movie had Joy Mukherjee, Asha Parekh, Mehmood, Shobha Khote, Dhumal, Raj Mehra, Sulochana, Ullhas, Madan Puri, Nazima, Majnu, etc in it.

The history of Rajasthan is a legendary saga of warriors and warfare over the centuries. The annals of Rajput clans date back to pre-Christ era, and the origins of the various dynasties are linked back into pre-history to the lineage of Lord Ram of the Suryavansh (Sun Dynasty). As per the chronicles of the Rajput dynasties, they trace their origins to Luv, the son of Lord Ram. Their flag, which is supposedly the flag of Prince Luv, is the insignia of Sun on a crimson background, still flutters on the forts and palaces in Rajasthan.

“Aalingan”(1974) , though a recent movie by the standards of this movie is an extremely obsure movie. This movie was a low budget movie, which were then euphemistically described as art movie and they used to be made with out of work newcomers.

In olden days, Hindi movie watchers often loved to watch movies telling sad and tragic tales. Personally I never liked watching such movies. I have never watched “Boot Polish” (1953) for this reason.
