Today’s song is the last and final song from the social film- My Friend-1974.
The film was produced by Poonamchand Shah for his own banner- Poonam Films, Bombay. It was directed by M. Rehman. The music was from Naushad- who was nearing the end of his Ultra successful career and who was desperately trying to cope up with the waves and trends of the likings of the modern audience.
The cast of the film included Rajiv, Prema Narayan, Purnima, Utpal Dutt, Jagdeep, Asit Sen, Polson, Tun Tun, Badriprasad and a long list of other actors.

Now let us turn to the nightingale of India, Lata Mangeshkar, as she sings a song “Tum Ko Agar Maine” penned by Hasrat Jaipuri and composed by Naushad Ali. The song is from the 1974 film My Friend.
“My Friend”(1974) was produced by Poonam Bhai Shah and Naushad and directed by M Rehman for Poonam Pictures Private Limited, Bombay. The movie had Rajeev(New find), Prema Narayan, Utpal Dutt, Purnima, Umraani(new find), Jagdeep, Asit Sen, Polson, Tuntun, Badri Prasad, Mona Sayeed, Hakeem, Samson, Rirkoo, Ratna, Moolchand etc in it.

“My Friend” (1974) was produced by Punamchand Shah and N Patel. This movie was directed by M Rehman, who was a son of Naushad. Naushad was the music director of this movie.
