This article is the 12700th song post in the blog. This article is the 1000th song post of Kishore Kumar in the blog as a playback singer.
As I write out this post today, I have strong emotions attached to it.
It is a huge honour for me to write this post. I have to thank Atul for giving me the opportunity to do so.

This is Lata’s second solo number in the film Padosan (1968). It is interesting to note that there are no male-female duets in the film. The hero and heroine do not get any chance to sing with each other. No, not even across the street from their respective windows.
