Man gaaye wo taraana
Posted on: April 17, 2009
Listening to this song prima facie reminds one of the tune of the song “Rangeela re” (“Prem Pujaari”), but as one begins to listen further to this song, this song sounds nice on its own merit.
This song “man gaaye wo taraana” is from “Chalaak” (1973). It was a C grade movie made mainly with newcomers/ strugglers. This song was picturised on someone called Alka and it is a party song. This song was sung by Suman Kalyanpur. Hasrat Jaipuri was the lyricist and the music was composed by Ganesh ( younger brother of Pyarelal of Laxmikant Pyarelal fame). This song has been forgotten by now but it is a nice song to listen to.

Lyrics
man gaaye
man gaaye wo taraana
jise sunke aa jaana
man gaaye wo taraana
jise sunke aa jaana
saathi aana mujhe dil se lagaana
dekho jhoome ye zamaana
zara tum bhi chale aanaa
man gaaye
mahfil rang bhare
raat bhi umang bhare
tere liye solah singaar kiye maine
o mahfil rang bhare
raat bhi umang bhare
tere liye solah singaar kiye maine
abhi aana mujhe yoon na bhulaana
kahta hai dil deewaana
zara tum bhi chale aanaa
man gaaye
aaaa o o
tum ko pyaar karoon
jaan bhi nisaar karoon
aaja mere meet main raah dekhti hoon
o tum ko pyaar karoon
jaan bhi nisaar karoon
aaja mere meet main raah dekhti hoon
aji aana
chaahe kuchh bhi na laana
mere dil ko naa dukhaana
zara tum bhi chale aana
man gaaye
dil ki baat rahe
pyaar ki laaj rahe
koi bhi ho manzil chhod ke aa jaana
ho dil ki baat rahe
pyaar ki laaj rahe
koi bhi ho manzil chhod ke aa jaana
zaldi aana waada bhool na jaana
dekho waada tum nibhaana
zara tum bhi chale aana
man gaaye wo taraana
jise sunke aa jaana
saathi aana mujhe dil se lagaana
dekho jhoome ye zamaana
zara tum bhi chale aanaa
man gaaye
