It has been a while since I posted a Madan Mohan composition. I have posted nearly one hundred Madan Mohan songs in this blog and there are still hundreds of great Madan Mohan songs that are yet to be posted.

I have posted two songs from “Anmol Ghadi” (1946) in this blog, but that is just the tip of the iceberg as far as the music of this movie is concerned. The world has changed a great deal from the time the music of this movie was created, but the magic of its music sounds as fresh today as it must have 64 years ago.

“Light House” (1958) was a movie featuring Ashok Kumar and Nutan. This movie is not remembere much today.Its music too is not very well known now a days. But this movie had a few nice songs in it.

“Miss Coca Cola” (1955) is a movie where Shammi Kapoor and Geeta Bali, who later on went on to get married, were paired together. Unfortunately, no prints of this movie are apparently available, so we have little idea of how the duo fared in this movie.

Shammi Kapoor made his Bollywood debut in 1953. One of his movies that were released that year was “Rail Ka Dibba” (1953). Here where Shammi Kapoor was paired opposite Madhubala.
