Ab to aa jaao balam

Few People of my generation may have heard of this movie called “Poonam” (1952) and same is the case as far as the songs of this movie are concerned. But when I listened to the songs of this movie, I was quite impressed.
I have posted two songs from this movie in the past. Here is another song from this movie. This song is sung by Lata and it is picturised on Kamini Kaushal.
Hasrat Jaipuri is the lyricist and Shankar Jaikishan composed the music. It is interesting to note that all songs in this movie were sung by Lata. The hero Ashok Kumar was confined to play sitar music in this movie. 😀

What a fantastic song sung almost 60 years ago ,I heard this song after a very long time when I saw Poonam. I had been eagerly searching and was Gungunaing this song
