Leke dil chupke se kiyaa majboor haay

Posted on: November 23, 2010

I have discussed three songs from “Dillagi” (1949) in the past which included timeless classics like Murli waale murli bajaa and Tu mera chand main teri chaandni.

Other songs of this movie are also very nice songs to listen to.

Here is a song from this movie. This song is sung by Suraiyya. This song is picturised on Suraiyya and Shyam. Shakeel Badayuni is the lyricist and music is composed by Naushad.

Lyrics

le ke dil chupke se
kiyaa majboor haay
le ke dil chupke se
kiyaa majboor haay
le ke dil chupke se
kyaa mohabbat kaa hai
yahi dastoor haay
kiyaa majboor haay
kyaa mohabbat kaa hai
yahi dastoor haay
kiyaa majboor haay
le ke dil chupke se
kiyaa majboor haay
le ke dil chupke se

aankhon hi aankhon mein
ho
aankhon mein
aankhon hi aankhon mein
jaane kyaa ghaat huyi
jaane kyaa ghaat huyi
baaton hi baaton mein
jaane kyaa baat huyi
jaane kyaa baat huyi
baaton hi baaton mein
jaane kyaa baat huyi
jaane kyaa baat huyi
dil se jo dil kahe
mujhe manzoor haay
dil se jo dil kahe
kyaa mohabbat kaa hai
yahi dastoor haay
kiyaa majboor haay
le ke dil chupke se
kiyaa majboor haay
le ke dil chupke se

zindagi tumse hai
ho tumse hai
zindagi tumse hai
mere tum dil mein raho
mere tum dil mein raho
raushni tumse hai
meri duniyaa mein raho
meri duniyaa mein raho
raushni tumse hai
meri duniyaa mein raho
meri duniyaa mein raho
shamaa parwaane se
rahe kyun door haay
shamaa parawaane se
kyaa mohabbat kaa hai
yahi dastoor haay
kiyaa mjaboor haay
le ke dil chupke se
kiyaa majboor haay
le ke dil chupke se

Sir,

This is a really beautiful great song of the 1949 film Dillagi. I have this song on my pen-drive and I often listen to it so as to drench and drown myself into its magic.

I want get such song whether in compact cassettes or on audio discs if published. could you please help me as to where I can get such songs.

May there are old Records (HMV) still available somewhere?

Mohan Lal
