Song-Aaj galiyon mein teri aaya hai deewaana tera (Sohni Mahiwal)(1958) Singer-Rafi, Lyrics-Shakeel Badayuni, MD-Naushad

Lyrics(Provided by Khyati Bhatt)

ae meri zindagi ke sahaare
kahaan hai tu
mujh ko bhi apne paas bulaa le
jahaan hai tu
oo oo oo

aaj galiyon mein teri
aaya hai deewaana tera
aaj galiyon mein teri
aaya hai deewaana tera
dil mein lekar gar gham tera
hothon pe afsaana tera
aaj galiyon mein teri

bheekh de deedaar ki
parda utha jalwa dikha
bheekh de deedaar ki
parda utha jalwa dikha
maangta hai husn ki
khairaat mastaana tera
maangta hai husn ki
khairaat mastaana tera
aaj galiyon mein teri
aaya hai deewaana tera
aaj galiyon mein teri

aag mein gham ki
jalaa jaata hai parwaana tera
aag mein gham ki
jalaa jaata hai parwaana tera
aaj galiyon mein teri

teri marzi hai banaa de
ya mita de tu mujhe
teri marzi hai banaa de
ya mita de tu mujhe
zindagi tujh par hai sadqe
dil hai nazraana tera
zindagi tujh par hai sadqe
dil hai nazraana tera
aaj galiyon mein teri
aaya hai deewaana tera
dil mein lekar gham tera
hothon pe afsaana tera
aaj galiyon mein teri

One thing for sure that Naushad saab had always use the most powerful orchestra for his songs,
Very first time in film “Mother India” Naushad saab used combination of the several instruments e.g. flute with clarinet, sitar with mandolin, and Spanish (Flamenco) guitar with tabla, He often switched to more expensive accordion in place of harmonium.
You can feel that tone of his music in this song that was In Mother India.
