Lyrics(Provided by Atif M)

yeh samaa
hai mera dil jawaan
pyaar bhara
hai dekho yeh jahaan
main ghata hoon
tu hai aasmaan
jhoom jhoom ke aayi bahaar

yeh samaa
hai mera dil jawaan
pyaar bhara
hai dekho yeh jahaan
main ghata hoon
tu hai aasmaan
jhoom jhoom ke aayi bahaar

yeh samaa
hai mera dil jawaan

baadal se barse nasha
chhaane lagi bekhudi
jaane hamein kis jagah
le ke chali zindagi
chalte chalein hum
koyi nahin gham
mauj karen hum matwaale
chalte chalein hum
koyi nahin gham
mauj udaayen hum

yeh samaa
hai mera dil jawaan
pyar bhara
hai dekho yeh jahaan
main ghata hoon
tu hai aasman
jhoom jhoom ke aayi bahaar

paani pe kirnen nahin
roop ki yeh aag hai
lehron ke sangeet mein
chaahat ka ik raag hai
main bhi yahaan hoon
tum bhi yahaan ho
jhoom ke ab to lehra le
main bhi yahaan hoon
tum bhi yaahan ho
jhoomte jaayen hum

yeh samaa
hai mera dil jawaan
pyar bhara
hai dekho yeh jahaan
main ghata hoon
tu hai aasmaan
jhoom jhoom ke aayi bahaar

hmmm hmmm hmmm
hmm hmm hmmm
aa aa aa
aaha aa aaha
hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm
aa haa haa aa ha ha

Pyar hua (shri420- 1955), Yeh raat bhigi bhigi, Jaha me jati hu(Chori-chori -1956) was the colossal success of the songs of SJ team. But K&A couldn’t surpassed that phenomenon in this song…although this duet was popular during it’s time.

In their early years, KJAJ’s compositions tended to sound a lot like SJ. One can not blame them. SJ by that time were established maestros and the reigning kings. No wonder new entrants aspired to emulate them. It is safer to adhere to a successful formula rather than devise a new one and risk being rejected.

Bedard Zamaana Kya Jaane, Samrat Chandragupt, Post Box 999, Satta Bazaar, Madari, Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere, Chhalia, Pyaase Panchhi, Phool Bane Angaare, Bluff Master, Ji Chahta Hai, Ishaara, Dulha Dulhan, Majboor are some of the movies where we feel more than a tinge of SJ flavour in KJAJ’s tunes. In fact, there are some seasoned music enthusiasts who for a long time kept on thinking that Chhalia’s was a SJ score. That typical Raj Kapoor-Mukesh combo which was the hallmark of SJ music in that period was heavily leant on to guarantee popular appeal and success.
