Haal e dil hamaaraa jaane na bewafaa

Posted on: July 7, 2012

“Shrimaan Satyawaadi” (1960) was a Roopkala Productions movie. This movie was directed by S M Abbas. The movie had Raj Kapoor, Shakila, Mehmood, Nazir Hussain, Radhakrishan, Raja Nene etc.

Here is a song from this movie. It is sung by Mukesh and it is picturised on Raj Kapoor and another person whom I can not identify. I am not sure who the lyricist is. I had posted another song from this movie where Gulzar was the lyricist. So based on that information I have provisionally assumed Gulzar to be the lyricist of this song too. I request our knowledgeable readers to tell us about the lyricist of this song.
PS-This song is written by Hasrat Jaipuri. I thank K S Mehta for this information.

Dattaram is the music director.

Lyrics of this song were sent to me by Nitin Shah.

Song-Haal e dil hamaaraa jaane na bewafaa (Shrimaan Satyawaadi)(1960) Singer-Mukesh, Lyrics-Hasrat Jaipuri, MD-Dattaram

Lyrics(Provided by Nitin Shah)

haal e dil hamaara
jaane naa bewafa
yeh zamaana zamaana aa
haal e di hamaara
jaane naa bewafa
yeh zamana zamana
suno duniyaawalon
aayega lautkar din suhaana suhaana aa
haal e dil hamaara

ek din duniya badalkar
raaste par aayegi ee
aaj thukraati hai hamko
kal magar sharmaayegi
baat ko tum maan lo
arre jaan lo bhaiyya aa
hale dil hamaara
jaane naa bewafa
yeh zamaana zamaana
suno duniyaawaalon

daag hai dil per hazaaron
ham toh phir bhi shaad hain
aas ke deepak jalaaye
dekh lo aabaad hain
teer duniya ke sahe
per khush rahe bhaiyya aa aa
haale dil hamaara
jaane naa bewafa
yeh zamaana zaamana aa
suno duniyaawaalon

jhooth ki manzil pe yaaron
ham naa hargiz jaayenge
ham zameen ki khaakh sahi
aasmaan per chhaayenge
kyun bhala dabkar rahen
darte nahi bhaiyya aa aa
haal e dil hamaara
jaane naa bewafa
yeh zamaana zamaana
suno duniyaawalon
aayega lautkar din suhaana suhaana
haal e dil hamaara

This song is written by Hasrat Jaipuri. Rest of the songs of this movie
are penned by Gulzaar.

Thanks for this information.

Just one-off appearance, I think.

Some how this movie or the music “just didn’t make it”
The movie had no story nor the music of 60’s.
