“12 O’clock”(1958) was produced by G P Sippy and directed by Pramod Chakraborty. The movie had Guru Dutt, Shashikala, Johnny Walker, Tuntun, Helen, Hari Shivdasani, Rajen Kapoor, Abrar Alvi, Waheeda Rehman etc in it.
This movie had seven songs in it. As many as six of these songs have already been discussed in the past.
The seventh song of the movie is “Sainyyan teri ankhiyon mein dil kho gaya”. It is sung by Shamshad Begam and it is picturised on Ashita Majumdar and Johny Walker. I thank Mr Sadanand Kamath for identifying the lady.
Majrooh Sultanpuri Sahir Ludhianvi is the lyricist. Music is composed by O P Nayyar.
A few lines in the second stanza of the songs are missing. They could well be available in the audio version of the song.

The female singer name does not figure in marquees. Abrar Alvi is director by profession. Was he also acting? Please enlighten

The female actor is Ashita Majumdar who is Marina in the film.

The Female actor lip syncing for this song is SABITA CHATTERJEE and she is not Ashita Majumdar.
Ashita Majumdar played the role of Maya who get murdered in the movie and
Sabita chatterjee who plays the role of MARINA(opposite Johnnywalker) and Sabita Chatterjee got two songs picturised on her in this movie including this one,
Imdb wrongly mentions Sabita Chatterjee as Maya and Ashita Majumdar as Marina, it is wrong, it should be vice versa

Again there is a confusion, there are 2 Sabita Chatterjee
one Sabita Chatterjee appeared in 1956 Parivar in the below video link with Ashim kumar(and famous in Bengali movie industry)
and
another Sabita Chatterjee is there opposite Johnnywalker in 12 `o clock and lip syncs for the above song
Please someone confirm that I am right !!!!! Help

2nd Sabita chatterjee played role of a maid(at actor Niranjan Shama`s house -> in Miya Bibi Razi(1960)-this is the same Sabita chattejee who acted in 12 `o clock opposite Johnnywalker as Marina
