Jeewan se na haar o jeenewaale

Posted on: August 4, 2012

Kishore Kumar, popularly regarded as a happy go lucky individual was deep down a sensitive soul. After making a couple of light hearted movies, Kishore Kumar began to make some serious movies on sensitive issues. But unfortunately the Hindi movie audience were not ready for such movies. In fact even today there is only a very small audience for serious and sensitive off beat movies.

“Door Ka Raahi” (1971) was such movie which was produced and directed by Kishore Kumar. This movie had Ashok Kumar, Kishore Kumar, Tanuja, Padma Khanna, Abhi Bhattacharya, Amit Kumar, Asit Sen etc in it.

As was the case with Kishore Kumar’s earlier movie, namely “Door Gagan Ki Chhaaon Mein” (1964), this movie too had nice songs in it which have been forgotten with time.

On the occasion of Kishore Kumar’s birth anniversary (4 august), here is a wonderful inspirational song from “Door Ka Raahi” (1971). The song is sung by Kishore Kumar. A Irshad is the lyricist. Music is composed by Kishore Kumar himself.

Lyrics of this song were sent to me by Khyati Bhatt.

Lyrics(Provided by Khyati Bhatt)

jin na jin jin jinnara
jin na jin jin jinnara
saath tere hai uparwaala
wahi hai tera rakhwaala

jeewan se na haar o jeene waale
jin na jin jin jinnara
jin na jin jin jinnara

jeewan se na haar o jeene waale
baat meri tu maan arre matwaale
har gham ko tu apna kar
hmm
dil ka dard chhupa kar
badhta chal tu lehraakar
duniya ke sukh dukh ko bisraakar
jeewan se na haar o jeene waale
baat meri tu maan are matwaale
jin na jin jin jinnara
jin na jin jin jinnara
saath tere hai uparwaala
wahi hai tera rakhwaala

sukh dukh hai jeewan ke do pairaahe
aa aa aa aa aa
dhoop sunahri kahin ghanere saaye
sukh dukh hai jeewan ke do pairaahe
dhoop sunahri kahin ghanere saaye

jo suraj andhiyaare mein kho jaaye
he
wahi lautkar naya sawera laaye
tu badhta chal
tu lehraakar
duniya ke sukh dukh ko bisraa kar
jeewan se na haar o jeene waale
baat meri tu maan arre matwaale
jin na jin jin jinnara
jin na jin jin jinnara
saath tere hai uparwaala
wahi hai tera rakhwaala

behti nadiya tujh ko yaad dilaaye
aa aa aa aa
samay jo jaaye kabhi laut na aaye
behti nadiya tujh ko yaad dilaaye
samay jo jaaye kabhi laut na aaye

deep to woh jo hawa mein jalta jaaye
hey
khud ko jalaakar jag ko raah dikhaaye
ae ae
tu badhta chal
tu lehraakar
duniya ke sukh dukh ko bisraakar
jeewan se na haar o jeene waale
baat meri tu maan arre matwaale

har gham ko tu apna kar
hmm
dil ka dard chhupa kar
badhta chal tu lehraakar
duniya ke sukh dukh ko bisraakar
jeewan se na haar o jeene waale
baat meri tu maan arre matwaale
jin na jin jin jinnara
jin na jin jin jinnara
saath tere hai uparwaala
wahi hai tera rakhwaala
jin na jin jin jinnara
jin na jin jin jinnara
saath tere hai uparwaala
wahi hai tera rakhwaala

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha(jin na jin jin jinnara)
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha(jin na jin jin jinnara}
ho ho ho ho hp hp ho ho(saath tere hai uparwaala)
ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho (wahi hai tera rakhwaala)

This is actually one of my favourite Kishore songs. It is SUCH a beautiful song, with such lovely lyrics. Understated song – and so powerful and meaningful. Loved the movie too. Everything about it is just beautiful. Needs to be better-known. And full of lovely songs.

One of the most inspirational songs ever sung in Bollywood movies . Others being ” Main Zindagi Ka Saath Nibhaata Chala Gaya ” ( Hum Donon ) sung by Rafi Sahib and ” Na Munh Chhupa Ke Jio ” ( Hamraaz ) by Mahendra Kapoorji .
This song acts as a tonic when one is alone and nothing goes right for him or her . The lesser known lyricist A Kamil demands special acclamation for writing such wonderful lyrics .

Sorry , lyricist is A Irshad not A Kamil .
