“Mehbooba” (1954) was a K Amarnath Productions movie. It was produceed and directed by K Amarnath. The movie had Shammi Kapoor, Nalini Jaywant, Hiralal, Amar, W. M. Khan, Achala Sachdev, Gope, Amrit Rana, Ramesh Thakur etc in it.
One song from this forgotten movie has been discussed in the past.
Here is another song from “Mehbooba” (1954). This song is sung by Talat Mehmood and Lata. Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Roshan.
The song is picturised on Shammi Kapoor and Nalini Jaiwant. It is nice to be able to watch Shammi Kapoor in one of his earlier movies before he had established himself in Hindi movies.

It is interesting to note that ‘Mehbooba’ had 2 music directors! All songs of Lata were compossed by Roshan & other songs were recorded by O.P. Nayyar!!
