“Raakhi Aur Hathhkadi” (1972) was produced by S Noor and directed by S M Sagar. The movie had Ashok Kumar, Vijay Arora, Asha Parekh, Kabir Bedi, Helen, Anoop Kumar, Sulochana, Raj Mehra, Sudhir, Nazima etc in it.
Here is a duet song from this movie. This duet song is sung by Kishore Kumar and Asha Bhonsle and it was a popular song during its time, though many people (including me) were not aware about the details of this song. It is only now that I have come to know that this song is from “Rakhi Aur Hathhkadi” (1972) and that this song was picturised on Vijay Arora ans Asha Parekh.
Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by R D Burman.

What a wonderful reminder. This song is a long time favorite. I remember I used to hum it, when I was in school, for an imaginary girl friend that I would have some day. 🙂
