“College Girl” (1960) was a Rawal Films production. It was produced by B L Rawal and directed by T Prakash Rao. The movie had Shammi Kapoor, Vyjayanthimala, Om Prakash, Tabassum, Raj Mehra, Purnima, Nana Palsikar, Randhir, Achla Sachdev, Leela Misra, Mohan Choti etc in it.
As many as seven songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the eighth song from the movie. This song is sung by Rafi. Only the audio of this song is available but it is obvious that the song must have been picturised on Shammi Kapoor in the movie.
Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Shankar Jaikishan.

“Phoolon ki tarah woh hansti thi” is a Rafi song from a film called ‘College Girl’ too. But this ‘College Girl’ was released in 1978. Music by Bappi Lahiri. Leading cast included Sachin, Bindiya Goswami, Shriram Lagu, Rita Bhaduri, Bhagwan, Paintal.
Producer was S. D. Narang. Directed by Shantilal Soni.

The tune of this song reminds me of “Saala Main Toh Saahab Ban Gaya” from the movie Sagina (1974).
And Yippeeee!! :). College Girl (1960) joins the ranks of movies that have all the songs from the movie discussed on this blog. Thank you Atul Ji.

Atul ji,
As per HFGK, there are only 7 songs in this film.
So,I checked all posted songs with the list of HFGK.
I could not find the posted song ‘ Phoolon ki tarah vo hansati thi”,
either thru’ Yearwise song list or thru’ moviewise song list as I got
” Error 404″ both times.
Even without that song,ALL listed songs are posted.
