“Kashish” (1980) is a movie of recent vintage by the standards of this blog, but I had never heard of this movie before. And very little informations seems to be available about this movie. Accordng to imdb, this movie was direced by written and directed by Amin Q Chaudhary and this movie had Navin Nischol, Vinod Mehra and Reena Roy. That plus the information that B R Ishara was also involved in writing the story, is all the information that seems to be available about this movie.
The songs of this movie are just as obscure.
Here is a song from this movie which I heard for the first time only just now. This song is sung by Rafi. Gulzar is the lyricist. Music is composed by Kalyanji Anandji.
The picturisation shows Navin Nischol sitting alone while the sun is setting in a distance. After some time, Navin Nischol is shown walking on the railway track.

If my memory serves me right, During my school days,I have a seen an paper advertisement of this movie in Indian Express, showing an foreign actress and Navin Nischol in bold romantic poses(must be kissing one another)and the movie was advertised as an Adults Only Movie. Please correct me If I am wrong.

Only a handful of movies (less than 5) have been released in movie theaters of Pakistan over past several decades, and this movie Kashish is one of them.

The films cast includes Reena Roy & Vinod Mehra also, and its poster said that this film has been shoot in America. I have not watched this movie.
