Na maangoon main tera jahaan

Posted on: April 28, 2013

“Raja Vikram” (1957) was a Sharad Productions movie. It was directed by Dhirubhai Desai. The movie had Bhagwan, Usha Kiran, Nigar Sultana, Suryakant, Shahu Modak etc in it.

Here is a song from this movie. This song is sung by Rafi. Bharat Vyas is the lyricist. Music is composed by B N Bali.

Only the audio of this rare song is available and so it is not possible to tell how and on whom this song is picturised. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the movie as well as on the picturisation of this song.

Lyrics of this song were sent to me by Avinash Scrapwala.

Song-Na maangoon main tera jahaan (Raja Vikram)(1957) Singer-Rafi, Lyrics-Bharat Vyas, MD-Baldev Nath Bali

Lyrics(Provided by Avinash Scrapwala)

Bhagwaan
Bhagwaan
Bhagwaan

naa maangu main tera jahaan
Prabhu naa maangu swarg ka daan
mujhe dena yahi wardaan
ke jisne mera kiya hain bura
tu uska
kar de bhala bhagwaan
tu uska
kar de bhala bhagwaan

bhed bhaav ka khel racha kar
hum bantey hain andhe ae
bhed bhaav ka khel racha kar
hum bantey hain andhe
kaun dost hai
kaun hai dushman
sabhi hain tere bande
tu hai sabka pita balwaan
teri jo nirbal hai santaan
tu unka kar de bhala bhagwaan
tu unka kar de bhala bhagwaan

sabhi tumhaari leela hai
Prabhu kya raja kya rank
ho o
sabhi tumhaari leela hai
Prabhu kya raja kya rank
koyal meethhe geet sunaaye
koyal meethhe geet sunaaye
saanp maartaa dank
ye sab hai tera farmaan
inhe apne ki nahin pehchaan
tu inka kar de bhala bhagwaan
tu inka kar de bhala bhagwaan

mujh par jinhone pathhar giraaye
Ho o o o o o o
mujh par jinhone pathhar giraaye
unko de phoolon ki maala
mujhko jinhhone zehar pilaaya
unko de amrit ka pyaala aa
unko de amrit ka pyaala
apni galti se wo anjaan
nateeje ka nahin hain unhe gyaan
tu unka kar de bhala bhagwaan
tu unka kar de bhala bhagwaan

Sir, thanks for the appreciation !! When i first listen to the song and it started with ‘bhagwan, bhagwan..’ same as in the song of ‘Baiju Bawra’ , i thought it was the wrong link and close it. But it was cleared when i found the same words in the second link and then listen the full song .
