“Parbat Ke Us Paar” (1988) was a Motit Films production. It was produced by Anand Prakash and directed by Raman Kumar. The movie had Abhinav Chatruvedi, Lubna Siddique, Bharat Kapoor, Avtar Gill, Yunus Parvez, Rama Vij, Rakesh Bedi, Deepak Tijori, Gulam Jilani, Manju Mishra etc in it and the movie had duly flopped at the box office.
Today (2 july 2013) is the 59th birth anniversary of Mohammad Aziz (DOB 2 july 1954). On this occasion, here is a song from “Parbat Ke Us Paar” (1988). The song is sung by Mohammad Aziz and Asha Bhonsle. Naqsh Llayalpuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Khayyam.

Got hold of rare video link to my favourite Khayyam composition:
featuring Abhinav Chaturvedi who starred in Ramesh sippy`s t v serial Buniyad and movies like Brishthachar(with Shilpa Shirodkar).
He is somewhat related to actress Raveena Tondon(must be cousin brother)

Hearing this song first time because I left India before 1988. Khaiyyam as one expects has done total justice to this song. Thanks for the post.

Thanks for posting the lyrics of this song. In my personal opinion,the songs of thei movie are very melodious.
Those days,I was studying in college(must be I was in my II year PUC), I saved the money (which my father used to give me for my lunch) and purchased the cassette of this movie. I remember on the inlay card of the cassette it was written as “8 fresh songs of Khaiyyam”
