“Aji Bas Shukriya” (1958) was an Eagle Films production. It was directed by Mohammad Hussain. The movie had Suresh, Geeta Bali, Kamal Mehra, Shobha Khote, Johnny Walker, Minu Mumtaz etc in it.
The movie had seven songs in it. As many as six of these songs have been discussed in the past.
Here is the seventh and final song from the movie. This song is a fun song in which some clerks (played by Geeta Bali, Johny Walker, Tuntun etc) sing this song. The gist of the song is that being a clerk is synonymous to being a kadka (financially broke). The fun song is sung by Asha Bhonsle (for Geeta Bali), Rafi (for Johny Walker) and Ghulam Mohammed (for Tuntun). Then the chorus is also there.
YT as well as myswar (and I guess HFGK too) describes this song as “kadki tera naam ladki” 🙂 which is not correct.
Prem Dhawan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Roshan.
