“Neeyat” (1980) was produced by Pradeep Sharma and directed by Anil Ganguly for Screen Idol Productions. The movie had Rekha,Jeetedra,Shashi Kapoor,Rakesh Roshan,Ranjeet,Dr.Sri Ram Lagoo, Pinchoo Kapoor, A.K.Hangal, Anoop Kumar,Bindu, Birbal, Deven Varma,Geeta Siddharth, Manmohan, Kumar Aditya, Master Sandeep, Padmini Kapila, Rajan Kapoor, Mushtaque Merchant, Rinku Jaiswal etc in it.
Today (10 october 2013) is the 59th birth anniversary of Rekha (DOB 10 october 2013). On this occasion, here is a song from “Neeyat” (1980).
The song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Gulshan Bawra is the lyricist and music is composed by Kalyanji Anandji.
Attempt has been made to picturise the song as a bhootiya song on the lines of “Kahin deep jale kahin dil” and other such songs. But the picturisation lacks imagination and falls short of expectations. A female ghostly figure in required to be in white sari (if it is a desi bhoot) or in a white gown (if she is a videshi bhoot). Dressing the female up in salwar kurta means that all suspense value is lost. And then the colourful shirt of Jeetendra acts as a further distraction. It must be said that the director(s) of this movie lacked imagination while picturising this song.

Correct audio link, but the uploader made a mistake by uploading the RIGHT(Neeyat song) song track with the visuals of wrong MOVIE name “Maa”(starring Dharmendra,Hema Malini, Nirupa Roy)
