“Chaar Deewaari” (1961) was produced by Chhaaya Dhwani and directed by Krishan Chopra. The movie had Shashi Kapoor, Nanda, Leela Chitnis, Laxmi, Manmohan Krishna, Satish Vyas, Pravin Paul etc in it.
The movie had six songs in it. Five of them have been discussed in the past. Here is the sixth and final song from the movie. This song is sung by Lata and it is picturised on Nanda as a “joie de vivre” cum “Saawan” genre of song. This delightful fast paced song is written by Shailendra and one can make out that this music can only be Salil Chaudhary’s composition.
