“Dekh Kabira Roya” (1957) was produced and directed by Amiya Chakraborty for Srirangam, Bombay. The movie had Anita Guha, Ameeta, Anoop Kumar, Daljit, Jawahar Kaul, Shubha Khote, Shivraj, Pravin Paul, Shyam Kumar, Ridku, Robert, Balwant Rahi, Chandabai, Shanti, Omkarnath, Shankarrao Nagarkar, Rampal, Sundar etc in it.
Seven out of its ten songs have been discussed in the blog.
Here is the eighth song from the movie. It is sung by Manna Dey. It is a classical song and it appears that only its audio is available and its video does not seem to be available. Therefore it is difficult to say how and on whom this song was picturised. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Madan Mohan.

Movie may be a big flop, but all songs of this movie are worth listening. All time favorites of mine. 🙂

Anoop Kumar was the hero. He has sung almost all the songs; this should not be an exception as he sang the similar classical kaun aaya mere man..
