“Bhaagam Bhaag”(1956) was produced and directed by Bhagwan. The movie had Bhagwan, Kishore Kumar, Smriti Biswas, Badri Prasad, Shashikala, Kumkum, Tiwari etc in it.
Seven songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the eighth song from the movie. The song is sung by Rafi. The song is picturised on Bhagwan and Kishore Kumar who are disguised as street singers. The song is lip synced by Bhagwan playing a bald devotee while Kishore Kumar is busy playing khadtaal and dancing as comical devotees dance in Hindi movies.
Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by O P Nayyar.
HFGK mentions this song as sung by Rafi and Geeta Dutt, which is incorrect as it is just a Rafi solo. HFGK also mentions that this song is picturised on a male and female character in the movie while the picturised song is only in Rafi’s voice. As can be seen, the song is picturised on two male characters viz Bhagwan and Kishore Kumar. So the HFGK entry needs to be corrected.

Atulji,
I could locate the audio of this duet by Rafi and Geeta Dutt. Like in other few cases only solo of Rafi may have been included in the movie (at least that’s what is mentioned in the HFGK). Duet sounds like a sad version of this song.
Hope this info helps. 🙂

Khyati
