“Sharaarat”(1959) was produced and directed by H S Rawel for Roshni Films, Bombay. The movie had Kishore Kumar, Meena Kumari, Raj Kumar, Kumkum, Sundar, Sheila Kashmiri, Ramesh Sinha, Kamaldeep, Indira Bansal, Jagdish Raj, Rajendranath, Rajrani, Razia, Aruna, Prabh Arora, Ridku, Soda Water, Ramlal, Nazeer Kashmiri, Kathana etc in it.

Five songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the sixth song from “Sharaarat”(1959). It is sung by Kishore Kumar and he sings this song onscreen alongwith his trademark comical dance steps in a bid to woo Meena Kumari who in the true traditions of Hindi movies displays anger at Kishore first only to keep melting as the song progresses.

Shailendra is the lyricist. Music is composed by Shankar Jaikishan.

Song- Khol de khol de khhidki chaahat ke naam pe(Sharaarat)(1959) Singer-Kishore Kumar, Lyrics-Shailendra, MD-Shankar Jaikishan

Lyrics

khol de khol de khidki
chaahat ke naam pe
khol de khol de khidki
chaahat ke naam pe
seekh hamaare dil se tadapna
ulfat ke naam pe ae ae ae
ulfat ke naam pe
khol de khol de khidki
chaahat ke naam pe
seekh hamaare dil se tadapna
ulfat ke naam pe ae ae ae
ulfat ke naam pe

toone pehchaana hi nahin dilwaale deewaanon ko
toone pehchaana hi nahin dilwaale deewaanon ko
darwaaze kya rokenge pyar ke in toofaanon ko
pyaar ke in toofaanon ko
haaye pyaar ke in toofaanon ko
khol de khol de khidki chaahat ke naam pe
seekh hamaare dil se tadapna
ulfat ke naam pe ae ae ae
ulfat ke naam pe

humko poora yaqeen hai apni thhandi aahon ka
humko poora yaqeen hai apni thhandi aahon ka
ek na ek din pehnenge hum haar kisi ki baahon ka
haar kisi ki baahon ka
haaye haar kisi ki baahon ka
khol de khol de khidki chaahat ke naam pe
seekh hamaare dil se tadpna
ulfat ke naam pe ae ae ae
ulfat ke naam pe

tukde tukde is dil ke
dekh tujhe samjhaate hain
arre tukde tukde is dil ke
dekh tujhe samjhaate hain
pyaar ko jo thhukraate hain
wo baad mein khud pachhtaate hain
baad mein khud pachhtaate hain
wo baad mein khud pachhtaate hain
khol de khol de khidki
chaahat ke naam pe ae ae
chaahat ke naam pe ae
oye
chaahat ke naam pe ae
seekh hamaare dil se tadapna
ulfat ke naam pe ae ae ae
ulfat ke naam pe
