Lyrics(Provided by Nitin Shah)

Saath do dil ka
hua thhaa ke
aakhir toda aaa aaa
pyaar ka deep
zamaane ne
bujhaa kar chhoda

dushman hai ye duniya do dil ki ee ee ee
dushman hai ye duniya do dil ki
rone bhi na de hansne bhi na de
rone bhi na de hansne bhi na de
ab dil pe jalaaye dil ki lagi
rone bhi na de hansne bhi na de
rone bhi na de hansne bhi na de
dushman hai ye duniya aaa aaa

fariyaad labon tak aa na saki
aankhon se bhi aansoo beh na sake
fariyaad labon tak aa na saki
aankhon se bhi aansoo beh na sake
dukh dard ke maare duniya mein
do dil bhi ??
karti hai sitam taqdeer meri ee ee ee
karti hai sitam taqdeer meri
rone bhi na de hansne bhi na de
rone bhi na de hansne bhi na de
dushman hai ye duniya aaa

ummeed ke sapne dikhlaa kar
gham dil mein basaati hai duniya
ummeed ke sapne dikhlaa kar
gham dil mein basaati hai duniya
phoolon mein jo rehte hain unko
kaanton pe sulaati hai duniya
hai iski puraani reet yahi ee ee ee
hai iski puraani reet yahi
rone bhi na de hansne bhi na de
rone bhi na de hansne bhi na de
dushman hai ye duniya aaa aa

Thanks for emailing me the new additions to the “List” and sending the updates from time to time. In this connection, I would like to know whether you revise your main “List” on your website as and when you introduce the new additions. For instance, today I wanted to verify whether the song from “Hamari Shaan” viz. ‘Dushman hai ye duniya do dil ki’ has since been added to the main “List” on your website but could not do so as I had difficulty in reaching your website for unknown reasons. I have still been trying but without success.

I take this opportunity to appreciate the mammoth task you have been performing for the noble cause of preserving, protecting and furthering the rich treasure we have inherited from all the great singers, music directors, lyricists, directors, producers not neglecting , of course, all the backstage artistes and others, who we may think to be insignificant but definitely are not so, who have brought, have been bringing and will continue to bring immense pleasure in our life and make our life less miserable with all the sorrows, pains, agonies and tragedies every human being has to face in the life at one time or the other.

I thank Mr.Nitin (Is Mr. Nalin Shah who has contributed in good measure in this field, a different personality?) Shah and other music stalwarts ( Sorry, I don’t know the names of all) who have been of great help to you in pursuing the aforesaid task.

Thanks.

I try to update the list daily but sometimes updates may get delayed by a few days.

I had the good fortune to meet Nitin Shah and Nalin Shah at the same time so I can vouch for the fact that they are two different persons. 🙂
